In its most recent Quest Gaming Showcase, Meta showcased a number of virtual reality titles that would be coming to its Quest headsets. It recently launched the Quest 3, and there is rising competition for VR players with Sony's introduction of the PSVR 2 and Apple's rumored headgear likely featuring some key games of its own. This year may prove to be an important year for Meta in the gaming industry. However, it appears that users who made an investment in Meta's VR platform will have some enjoyable games to look forward to. The highly anticipated action-adventure game Asgard's Wrath 2 received one of Meta's most prominent spotlights.

Swordfighting, axe throwing, riddles, minigames, and even fishing were demonstrated during the event. Meta has promised that the game will be large, with a campaign lasting more than 60 hours and a roguelite dungeon mode. Winter 2023 will see the release of Asgard's Wrath 2 for Quest headsets. A new game called Assassin's Creed Nexus VR will make Quest headsets compatible with Assassin's Creed, which is already available on nearly all gaming platforms. At Thursday's event, Meta indicated that Ubisoft would reveal more information about the game at its Ubisoft Forward event on June 12.
