Apple's 'Apple GPT' will soon join the AI chatbot group

The internal chatbot service developed by Cupertino has been dubbed "Apple GPT" by some engineers, according to the recent reports. The move demonstrates Apple's foray into generative AI, especially in light of OpenAI's introduction of ChatGPT, which quickly gained enormous user traction.

In order to compete with OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google's Bard, and Meta's Llama, Apple has built its own internal infrastructure upon which it will develop substantial language models. The framework is known by the codename "Ajax," sources told the publication. It was initially created last year and utilizes Google Cloud. The chatbot is now only accessible within Apple. Some Apple workers think the company might make a substantial AI announcement as early as next year.

Even while Cupertino doesn't often use the phrase "artificial intelligence," it is well known that the business incorporates AI into several of its products, including the well-known Siri speech assistant.
