The main goal of the program is to encourage researchers all over the world to look for potential vulnerabilities in the AI integrations and Bing chatbot. On the website for the AI bounty program, Microsoft says, "Security researchers from all around the world are invited to find vulnerabilities in the brand-new, cutting-edge, AI-powered Bing experience. Submissions that meet the requirements can earn bounty payments ranging from $2,000 to $15,000. The AI-powered Bing integration in Microsoft Edge, the AI-powered Bing integration in the Microsoft Start app, and the AI-powered Bing integration in the Skype Mobile app are among the additional products and integrations that may possibly be eligible for bounty rewards.

Vulnerabilities found in these integrations can be reported for review and will be rewarded. The main goal of the AI bounty program is to find significant flaws that directly and tangibly affect customer security within the cutting-edge AI-powered Bing experience. Applicants must be at least 14 years old to be eligible, and minors must have legal guardian consent in order to participate. Microsoft recently revealed that it has awarded 345 security researchers globally $13.8 million in rewards in a blog post analyzing the previous year's bounty programs. 1,180 vulnerabilities were found by these researchers in 17 different bug bounty programs.
