Demenius, who has served as a board member and Chief Commercial Officer for over seven years, steps into this role as part of the company's natural progression. SmartLynx Airlines achieved record-breaking performance in 2023, with a 48% increase in flights and a 53% rise in passenger numbers compared to the previous year. The airline expanded its fleet from 49 to 67 aircraft and aims to further grow to 100 aircraft by 2026, capitalizing on the escalating demand for ACMI passenger services in Europe.
