John Donatiello, who serves as Senior Vice President Strategy and Business Development at Hydro Inc., has been appointed as the board president. Charles Pope, president and general manager of Patterson Pump Co., assumes the role of treasurer, while Ansell Sims, president of Grundfos USA, takes on the position of secretary. Each officer holds a one-year term, concluding in February 2025. The HI board welcomes three new members: Gregory Case, chief product officer at Taco Comfort Solutions; Gregory Levine, corporate vice president at Franklin Electric; and Daniel McGrath, senior vice president of sales at Nidec Motor Corp. Each new member begins a three-year term, extending until 2027.

Brian Sweeney, outgoing HI chairman and president of Crane Pumps & Systems, transitions to an ex-officio member of the board. The primary responsibility of the HI board is to provide organizational oversight to the institute and steer the direction of its strategic plan.
