TAG acquired US-based entertainment and luxury travel specialist

The Appointment Group (TAG), a travel and event management company based in the UK, has announced its agreement to acquire Travel Stars, an entertainment and luxury travel specialist located in Nashville, Tennessee. Travel Stars, known for its management of touring travel for country music artists and luxury travel for affluent individuals, will continue to operate as a distinct division within TAG's existing Nashville office. The financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed. Byron Carr, TAG's group touring director, expressed that the acquisition of Travel Stars will significantly enhance the group's touring services.

TAG, headquartered in London with additional offices in Manchester, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Singapore, and across Australia, further expanded its presence with the acquisition of incentive specialist CCM Travel in 2023. Gabrielle Carr, TAG's Chief Operating Officer, emphasized Travel Stars' reputable standing within the Nashville entertainment and travel industry, stating that acquiring the esteemed travel management company will provide clients with tailored services to meet the evolving needs of entertainment and luxury travel. This strategic move in Nashville follows TAG's recent acquisition of Atlantis Travel, a production travel specialist based in California, demonstrating the company's commitment to enhancing its offerings within the entertainment and luxury travel sectors.
