VietJet Air Cargo and Teleport...Teleport extends its Total Cargo Management capabilities beyond AirAsia, with VietJet Air Cargo on its New Delhi – Ho Chi Minh City belly space
Teleport, an integrated logistics solutions provider, has announced its acquisition of the exclusive commercial rights for Vietjet Air Cargo’s belly space on the New Delhi to Ho Chi Minh City route. This move builds upon Teleport's established capability, developed through its management of the commercial rights for all six airlines under AirAsia since 2018, providing end-to-end total cargo management utilizing technology. The agreement signed between Teleport and Vietjet Air Cargo signifies a deeper collaboration aimed at meeting the increasing air cargo demand in Southeast Asia. In November 2023, both entities signed a Memorandum of Understanding to expand their networks, integrating Teleport’s extensive Southeast Asia air logistics network with Vietjet’s Asia Pacific flight network.
Nelson further emphasized the benefits of the partnership, committing to materializing their shared vision to create an enhanced ecosystem fostering innovation. Pete Chareonwongsak, CEO of Teleport, echoed Nelson’s sentiments, highlighting the significance of Vietjet Air Cargo’s trust in Teleport to manage their New Delhi-Ho Chi Minh City sector commercially. He underscored Teleport's successful track record in maximizing cargo operations for low-cost airlines, citing the significant growth in ancillary revenue contribution achieved with AirAsia. The Delhi-Ho Chi Minh City sector operates four times a week, offering extended connections across Vietjet Air and Teleport networks to key cargo destinations such as Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland.
