CAPE Analytics and Vexcel Forge Strategic Partnership to Enhance AI-Powered Property Insights

Vexcel's extensive aerial imagery library covers 99.6% of the U.S. population and over 127 million households

A new collaboration has been announced between CAPE Analytics, a leader in AI-powered property insights, and Vexcel, a world leader in aerial imagery. This partnership aims to deliver high-resolution, accurate, and up-to-date aerial imagery to enhance CAPE's property insights and expand its offerings across the United States, Canada, and Australia. Founded in 2014, CAPE Analytics has established itself as a prominent provider of predictive property risk insights, serving over 80 enterprise clients, including many of the top 30 homeowners’ insurance carriers in the U.S. and leading global investment banks. CAPE generates and instantly delivers more than 80 property analytics, evaluating factors such as roof condition, age, living area, and risk scores for hail and wildfire. These detailed insights help insurance carriers, financial institutions, and property owners manage and mitigate property-level risks.

Vexcel's extensive aerial imagery library covers 99.6% of the U.S. population and over 127 million households. The company regularly updates its urban area imagery in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand and refreshes it up to three times a year in the United States. With 4.4 million square kilometers under capture in the United States by 2024, Vexcel aims to provide 93% of the population with updated imagery.

This partnership will enable CAPE to expand its geographic reach, including states like Hawaii, rural U.S. areas, and new territories such as New Zealand. Additionally, CAPE will offer clients Vexcel’s post-disaster Gray Sky imagery and analytics following major weather events, enhancing their ability to respond to and manage disaster-related property risks.
