Sprite’s New Campaign Of...The campaign features Vedang Raina, a rising star who embodies the cool, laid-back vibe Sprite is promoting
Sprite, the beloved lemon-lime soda, has launched a quirky new campaign aimed at helping teens unwind after a busy day. Recognizing the pressures that today’s youth face—balancing school, extracurriculars, social life, and personal ambitions—the campaign positions Sprite as the ultimate companion for a refreshing end-of-day chill.
The campaign features Vedang Raina, a rising star who embodies the cool, laid-back vibe Sprite is promoting. The series of films uses clever humor and creative visuals, such as people popping out of backpacks and talking refrigerators, to depict the burdens teens carry home after a long day. Sprite’s messaging, crafted with the help of AI, includes 200 unique variations tailored to resonate with the moments that matter most to teens. Raina expressed his excitement about being part of the Sprite universe, noting how the campaign’s insight into the importance of unwinding aligns with the needs of his generation. Sumeli Chatterjee, senior category director at Coca-Cola India and South-West Asia, emphasized that the campaign’s creative strategy centers around the metaphor of a bag filled with the stress of the day, which Sprite helps alleviate.
The campaign, directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy of Corcoise Films, and creatively led by Ritu Sharda of Ogilvy India (North), captures the everyday annoyances teens face, offering Sprite as a refreshing way to turn those moments into something light and enjoyable.
