Tessell Unveils DBaaS for Oracle ExaDB-D on Oracle Cloud

Tessell and Oracle have achieved an important turning point with this launch, which will be featured at Oracle CloudWorld in Las Vegas from September 9–12.

Tessell has introduced Tessell for Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure (ExaDB- D), a new database-as-a-service (DBaaS) that is accessible through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Tessell and Oracle have achieved an important turning point with this launch, which will be featured at Oracle CloudWorld in Las Vegas from September 9–12.

Tessell’s new solution aims to simplify database management for enterprises by offering seamless migration of on-premises workloads to OCI. The product provides comprehensive support for data modernisation, enabling businesses to leverage existing infrastructure while scaling to meet modern data demands. Tessell's AirDrop data migration tool facilitates minimal-effort transitions to the cloud. Bala Kuchibhotla, Tessell's co-founder and CEO, expressed excitement about the partnership with Oracle, highlighting that Tessell’s multi-engine database support would provide enterprises with significant flexibility. He also stated that customers would benefit from Oracle’s robust infrastructure along with comprehensive data management capabilities. The product also promises high availability solutions, such as RAC, with extensive support for mission-critical workloads. Tessell’s unified management plane allows enterprises to maintain control over their data across various cloud environments, offering a smooth transition and enhanced scalability.

Tessell will demonstrate the new DBaaS offering at Oracle CloudWorld, showcasing its capabilities in database lifecycle management and cloud migrations, underscoring its commitment to providing flexible, high-performance cloud solutions.
