Installing Solar Trees on the CMPDIL campus as part of the PM Surya Ghar Yojna is one of the major projects of the campaign

Together with its PSUs, the Ministry of Coal has made major progress toward sustainability and cleanliness as part of Special Campaign 4.0. In order to reach the campaign's target of 62,08,064 square feet, 211 sites totaling 13,01,043 square feet were cleaned between October 2 and October 31. In addition, Rs 83.7 million was made from the disposal of 3,516 MT of scrap. Furthermore, the ministry examined 15,322 hard copy and digital files with 5,253 of them being weeded out or closed.

Installing Solar Trees on the CMPDIL campus as part of the PM Surya Ghar Yojna is one of the major projects of the campaign. With a 5 kW capacity each, these trees are designed to use renewable energy to meet energy needs in homes and offices. Furthermore, a sculpture highlighting creative sustainability was built from scrap materials as an outcome of CMPDIL's "Waste to Art" campaign. One remarkable innovation is the Smart-ReBin waste segregation system from Coal India Ltd., which uses artificial intelligence to efficiently dispose plastic waste. Sensors in the bins track the amount of waste inside, preventing overflow and optimizing collection schedules.

During his visit to Western Coalfields, Nagpur, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy praised Safai Karamcharis's efforts, recognizing their crucial role in preserving cleanliness and endorsing the campaign's objectives of promoting environmental responsibility and operational efficiency.
