Austin-based Throne, a smart health company, recently launched an innovative device that might change the way we think of our personal hygiene routines. The startup sells a camera that you can attach to the edge of your toilet bowl to take pictures of your bowel movements and use the photographs to learn more about your hydration and gut health. Currently under beta testing, this small device provides health information and examines waste using artificial intelligence (sometimes known as "artificial gut intelligence") that has been trained by doctors. The contents of the poop are the only thing in focus for the camera. The camera only records what's inside the toilet bowl, safeguarding user privacy by keeping all photos private. Throne claims that it automatically deletes pictures that are useless to its objective and does not save any data that is unrelated to it. Users are always free to access and request the deletion of their data, which is encrypted for security. The elderly population and those with long-term digestive disorders like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis are among Throne's target customers.
