Cracker Barrel Partners with Blue Engine for Storytelling, PR, and Marketing

Cracker Barrel enlists Blue Engine, Prophet, and Viral Nation to revamp brand, marketing, and social media.

As part of a broader brand revamp, Cracker Barrel has enlisted Blue Engine to assist with the company's storytelling, consumer PR, experiential marketing, and collaborations. The U.S. restaurant company has chosen the business as one of three agency partners to support its refresh, which aims to engage both new and returning customers.

ICR stated in a statement that Blue Engine, an independent company it established in 2023, will strive to improve Cracker Barrel's narrative through partnerships, events, and earned media that realize the chain's reimagined brand strategy.

At the end of 2024, the agency began working with Cracker Barrel in addition to the brand's other new agency partners, Prophet and Viral Nation, who are collaborating with Cracker Barrel on social media transformation and guest and staff experiences, respectively. Under the direction of President Seth Grugle, a group of five people from Blue Engine is working on the account.

According to Cracker Barrel, the brand update consists of visual components, a redesigned restaurant layout, and new food and retail items. The goal of Prophet is to develop a brand vision that will increase market share while upholding the company's history. According to the corporation, the new approach will guide brand marketing campaigns, restaurant redesigns, brand communication, and a redesigned employee value proposition.

Using social-first tactics and in-house AI-powered technology, Viral Nation is facilitating the revolution of social media by increasing reach, engagement, and return on investment. In order to connect with socially native consumers and keep Cracker Barrel's core audience engaged, the agency will construct, curate, and deploy social media marketing services.
