Cassie Ventura Reveals She Left US after Diddy Trial, Won't Return

Cassie Ventura revealed in court documents that she has moved out of the US and does not intend to return after the Sean 'Diddy' Combs trial. The Silicon Review reports on her relocation and legal battles.

Cassie Ventura has revealed in newly filed court documents that she no longer lives in the United States and has no intention of moving back following the explosive trial of her ex-boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs.

In a declaration dated May 1, 2026, filed in connection with her ongoing lawsuit against male escort Clayton Howard, the 39-year-old singer wrote: "I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States”. She confirmed she remains a US citizen but is not a resident of California, and noted that traveling to New York where her legal team is based would be "significantly more convenient" for court proceedings.

Cassie's decision to relocate comes after she received a combined payout of approximately $30 million following her allegations against Diddy. She reportedly received $20 million from Combs as part of a 2023 settlement over abuse claims, plus an additional roughly $10 million from the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City hotel after surveillance footage emerged showing Diddy physically assaulting her in a hallway .

During Diddy's seven-week federal criminal trial in 2025, Cassie testified while pregnant with her third child, detailing years of alleged abuse during their on-and-off relationship from 2007 to 2018. Combs were found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and are currently serving a four-year prison sentence.

The court filing is part of Cassie's legal battle with Clayton Howard, a male escort who has alleged he was hired by both Cassie and Diddy for "freak-offs" and claims he suffered physical and psychological harm. In her response, Cassie pointed to an alleged message Howard sent to her husband Alex Fine in 2023, in which he reportedly expressed support for her and stated her allegations were "100% valid.”

Cassie and her husband Alex Fine are now raising their three children outside the US. The couple welcomed a son in May 2025, just weeks after she testified in court.

As Cassie Ventura reveals she has left the United States after the Diddy trial with no plans to return, The Silicon Review examines how the singer is prioritizing her family's peace and healing after years of legal battles.
