The Focus

Saksoft’s CSR will primarily focus on eradicating hunger, poverty, and malnutrition, promoting preventive health care and sanitation and making available safe drinking water. The company promotes gender equality, empowering women, setting up homes and hostels for women and orphans; setting up old age homes, day care centers and such other facilities for senior citizens and measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically backward groups.

Protection of national heritage, art, and culture including restoration of buildings and sites of historical importance and works of art is also at the core of Saksoft’s CSR values. It also provides training to promote rural sports, nationally recognized sports, Paralympic sports and Olympic sports.

SOS Children’s Village India: Saksoft participated in the clothes drive for the “SOS Children’s Village India” and continues to raise money for the contributions. The clothes were segregated and were distributed to Helpage India, a non-government organization working for the cause and care of the disadvantaged older people since its inception.

At Vuyiroli: Chennai - Vuyiroli is an old age home in Chennai. Saksoft participated in the Christmas celebrations and engaged with the residents, played games and distributed cakes to all the members.

At Shankara Special School: Noida - A team from Saksoft spent time with the special children, conducted activities and presented them with a few educational aids.

The Man behind Saksoft’s Success

Aditya Krishna, Chairman & Managing Director: Aditya is the Founder, Chairman and the Managing Director of the Saksoft Group, spearheading Saksoft’s growth across domains and geographies. He brings with him over 30 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. After a long career with Chase Manhattan Bank in New York and later with Citibank, New York, he relocated to India in 1990 as part of a four-member team to establish Citibank’s credit card business in the country and was also instrumental in developing the in-house software to run credit card operations. Aditya founded Saksoft in 1999 and drives the business development efforts.
