A talk with the Management

Tell us about your first product that was launched?

We built a technology that could be used to better identify security issues using passive RFID. We wrote a business plan and thought it looked good on paper – then went back to writing code. It was not until we sat with some customer’s and received some frank feedback that we realized how at odds security can be with day to day operations. It was 2004 and many of the organizations we worked with saw security an impediment to their business.

What were the grounds on which you have expanded your company and its offerings over the years?

We have worked across the DoD, Federal, and Fortune 500, and as much as each sector likes to say they are different, we have found from a cyber perspective many of them have very similar challenges. So, we focus on our expanding offerings on where we can make the most impact while juggling our customer’s realities.

If you have to list five factors that have been/are the biggest asset to your organization, what would they be and why?

Our employees focus on solutions for our customers. We don’t have a one size fits all or rip and replace mentality. Our tech-enabled services are built around ensuring our customers can adapt their organizations to the threat. Our solutions are built by cyber experts for cyber experts. We teach our customers to fish. We define success when our customers can secure their organizations without our help.

What do you feel are the reasons behind the following?

Your product popularity: We have been serving our customers for over 12 years and have built a significant customer base across all sectors of federal and commercial. We are a silent cyber and privacy partner, when we win a big account you probably only know if you are the customer or know the CISO.

Your consistence growth as an organization: Hyper focus on Cyber and Privacy – it is all we do and all we have ever done. It allows us to create solutions (products, training, managed services, and tech-enabled services) to adapt to our customer’s threats and needs.

How big is your organization today? Briefly explain the organizational structure.

We have over 100 employees across the US with most of them are cyber and privacy professionals.

Are there any trigger factors/events/individuals that have played key roles in shaping your organization’s road map?

Some of our most challenging times with management, employees, and customers have helped us to shape a world class cyber company.

How do you and your company contribute to the global IT platform and society at large?

We are helping our customers secure their systems across the Government and commercial sectors – to include telecommunications, technology, finance, healthcare, transportation, and logistics.

You will not see our name on the products but many of the space systems, robotics, medical devices, transportation systems, etc. have had Lunarline as part of their testing and secure development.

Do you have any new products ready to be/getting ready to be rolled out into the market?

We are creating a new product called Gravity that will work across all our current cyber and privacy tools. We also launch new satellites into cyber space to collect threat, malware, and vulnerability information for our customers and hunt teams.

Where do you see you and your company a couple of years from now?

We have expanded significantly in the US over the past couple years and we are expanding quickly into international markets.
