Its vetting process is more than a mere resume evaluation — but rather a more holistic and rigorous evaluation using proprietary criteria that mimics a job interview. In addition to all the usual qualifications, such as education, professional experience and recognitions, it selects for business-forward and technology-savvy attorneys with exceptional communication skills and top-notch legal acumen.

All lawyers admitted to the firm’s network are required to have a minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience (post-bar admission), and malpractice coverage of $100K per incident; $500K in the aggregate per year. Furthermore the attorneys hail from the top boutique firms in the country and serve in-house departments and entrepreneurs in a variety of practice areas, including:

Tell us about the legal needs you are looking to address: Complete our Attorney Request form and we’ll immediately start searching our database of vetted attorneys for matches who meet your requirements.

Your Project Manager hand-selects lawyers from our vetted network who best fit your needs: Using our proprietary data and software, your Priori Project Manager, a qualified lawyer, matches the criteria you provided with our detailed information on the experience and credentials of the lawyers in our network to create a customized pool of legal talent for you.

You get an email from your Project Manager when your custom lawyer matches are ready: We’ll send you an email alerting you that your lawyer’s results are ready for review. You can then create a Priori account to see your matches.

Review comprehensive lawyer profiles and pricing information: Before joining Priori, each lawyer completes a comprehensive profile with extremely granular practice and background information. You can log in to the site to review your attorney matches and pricingincluding each lawyer’s Priori hourly rate and any off-the-shelf flat rate packages. All rates you see reflect at least a net-17.5% discount off that lawyer’s regular rates (inclusive of Priori’s fees).

Schedule free consultations or message with your preferred candidates to discuss your needs: Using our online tools, you can schedule free half-hour consultations or message any of the lawyers to discuss your needs, their experience and your preferred fee arrangements.

Review pricing proposals & get started: After your consultations, each lawyer will send you a custom pricing proposal — whether hourly, flat, subscription, capped or contingent — via our site. When you’re ready to move forward, you can make an opening payment from your Priori account and your attorney will start working.
