Glue Networks to Demonstrate and Present at ONUG on Software-Defined Wide Area Networks

siliconreview Glue Networks to Demonstrate and Present at ONUG on Software-Defined Wide Area Networks

Glue Networks is presenting a deployed customer use case and sharing a live demonstration of Gluware® during the luncheon series today at the Open Networking User Group (ONUG). The intelligent orchestration engine can provision and deploy an enterprise WAN in less than 5 minutes vs. weeks or months with manual solutions, and delivers agility, efficiency and cost savings to the WAN. Gluware is deployed in production networks around the world and available through Glue Networks, channels and on the general price list of select partners.

“Our customers require a higher performance, flexible, secure, resilient and global network and want to leverage their existing WAN equipment, training and certification investments,” said Jeff Gray, CEO and co-founder of Glue Networks. “Gluware simplifies the WAN and provides the network automation, QoS and the agility to make dynamic changes, optimize global transit paths, provide more network bandwidth and deliver higher performance at significantly lower cost.”

“IT business leaders today need to do more with less and they are coming together at the Open Networking User Group to take control of their IT architecture, pool their collective IT spend and influence vendor product development,” said Nick Lippis, ONUG Chairman and Co-Founder. Glue Networks has actively participated in all 3 ONUG conferences. The Branch Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN) use case was voted at ONUG Fall 2013 one of the top 3 most likely to be included in RFIs/RFQs in the next 12 months.

The Gluware intelligent orchestration engine is highly scalable and automatically deploys, manages and monitors enterprise WAN infrastructure resulting in lower costs. This expert system allows an enterprise to create WAN policies (pre-vision), intelligently provision them (pro-vision), and dynamically life cycle manage (post-vision) them while tuning the WAN. Instead of a load and pray approach of filling in wild cards and sending a configuration to the router, Glue helps build and maintain the WAN with error checking and self-healing in an intelligent and real-time manner.

Glue Networks pioneered the industry’s first intelligent orchestration engine and suite of networking applications for Software-Defined Wide Area Networks. Gluware® intelligently automates the configuration and management of complex SDWAN deployments, accelerating time to value, reducing, and dramatically increasing the ability to respond to change. Glue Networks was designated a Gartner Cool Vendor for 2013 and currently powers mission critical SDWANs for blue chip enterprises and service providers.
