People ditch air travel in order to protest against climate change

The most recent move by millennials who are concerned by climate change is to give up air travel as a sign of protest against the alarming conditions threatening the planet. This is being done in order to cause awareness about the high quantity of emissions caused by the aviation industry. Millennials want to reduce their carbon footprint as much as possible in order to conserve the planet for future generations. Climate change is increasingly affecting human health at a rate that can only be defined as alarming.

"One of the problems is that people feel there's no point in what you do as an individual. The campaign is about making people aware that if we do this together, we can actually make a huge difference. It's hard to understand how polluting air travel is and the amount of energy and kerosene it takes to put people in the air and get them across the planet. Rail travel is soaring thanks to climate fears. Domestic passenger numbers in July fell by 12% compared to the previous year,”said a report by Swedavia.

Many climate change activists from Greta Thunberg to Maja Rosen are protesting against climate change within their communities while trying to provoke a reasonable reaction amongst capitalist economies who can contribute to the conservation of the planet.
