Segway’s brand new prototype resembles Professor X’s wheelchair

CES is the world's gathering place for all those who thrive on the business and innovation. The platform helps the business giants as well as young entrepreneurs to get past their oddities and it always looks forward to different mobility concepts. Segway and NineBot which produces varieties of e-vehicles are all set to show off its all-new prototype electric vehicle called S-Pod.

The all-new prototype S-Pod looks like a horseless chariot. The firm in a recent statement announced that the vehicle weighs approximately 330.7 pounds and it can cruise at a top speed of 24.8 miles per hour. It is also considered as an easy to drive option, all thanks to its automatic balancing capabilities. the prototype can travel about 43.5 miles before its battery needs to be charged.

The firm is also set to release another set of e-scooter known as NineBotKickScooter Air T15. This is owned by both Segway and Ninebot. It is the most lightweight scooter the companies have made to date. The vehicle consists of a new braking system that automatically charges the battery whenever the scooter slows down or stops.

The firm is all set to showcase these vehicles in the CES platform in the second week of January. The firm is also competing with e-vehicle manufacturing giants such as eMoped and eScooterEvs but it is said that the S-Pod will dominate the flagship conversation.
