An application called FLOWN, which is based in California, uses real-time biometric input to customize exercises for users.

The well-known indoor cycling studio SoulCycle has teamed up with fitness technology startup FLOWN to provide trainer-led virtual workouts. An application called FLOWN, which is based in California, uses real-time biometric input to customize exercises for users. The software keeps track of each user's heart rate, diet, and hydration to design a customized workout schedule. With the help of the FLOWN app, which uses real-time data to direct users through customized workouts, SoulCycle instructors will lead virtual sessions. Users will have a selection of exercise options, such as cycling, yoga, and meditation. People will get an authentic training experience thanks to the live streaming of the exercises from SoulCycle studios.

SoulCycle and Flown are working together to bring their studio-based fitness program into people's homes. Although SoulCycle has a long history of providing cycling lessons in person, the COVID-19 pandemic has pushed the business to shift its focus to online programs.  Both companies benefit from their collaboration with SoulCycle and Flown. FLOWN's cutting-edge technology is made available to SoulCycle, and in exchange, Flown is exposed to SoulCycle's sizable and devoted user base. Partnerships like this will probably increase in frequency in the fitness sector as more people resort to virtual workouts.
