FTA channels to enhance the course of Formula-E watching

Formula-E issues a statement about their new media alliance with RedBull Media House, DF1, and ServusTV. The contract is interminable for multiple seasons and promises to cast all the Formula-E races in real-time in Germany and Austria exclusively. The streaming is accessible on Free-to-Air (FTA), pay TV, and various other digital channels from the start of this season. The particular strategy will be Formula-E’s biggest FTA program distribution set in Germany, which is known to be the first in the history of the E-series since 2014. The most fascinating part is that it’s not just the main races but also the qualifying sessions that would be streamed live.

While ServusTV Motorsport has been the primary motorsport channel on Germany’s telecom pay TV, now Magenta TV, ServusTV On, the online portal, and speedweek.com have also joined the live broadcasting party. Along with the New Year tidings, Germany announced DF1 as the newest FTA platform as of January 1, 2024. DF1 will be showcasing featured news, media and entertainment, and the inside stories of all the sports communities. ServusTV, the rapidly growing FTA channel in the current field, will be streaming every race in real-time this season in Austria. Aarti Dabas, the Chief Media Officer, was caught stating that the partnership is a remarkable highlight and that sport lovers will be exposed to more of this sport through these FTA channels than always.
