LG launched Vulnerable & E...3D anamorphic animal series kicks off LG's Earth Day activations; LG commits $150,000 in partnership with the National Wildlife Federation and Discovery Education
In anticipation of Earth Day 2024, LG Electronics unveiled a 3D anamorphic experience on its Times Square billboard in New York City today, showcasing vulnerable and endangered species. The LG Endangered Species Series, scheduled to run throughout the year, involves partnerships with Discovery Education and the National Wildlife Federation aimed at educating K-12 students about conservation efforts. Through this dynamic Times Square billboard campaign, LG Electronics will feature anamorphic content highlighting some of the world's most at-risk species, as well as those that have made significant recovery but still require ongoing protection. The series will kick off with the snow leopard, followed by the bald eagle, Galapagos sea lion, and reindeer later in the year. Each animal will be depicted in stunning 3D, seemingly emerging from the display.
Collaborating with Discovery Education and the National Wildlife Federation, LG will host a K-12 educational series about vulnerable and endangered species linked to the Times Square billboard. The LG Endangered Species Series aims to deepen students' understanding of endangered animals' unique characteristics and their role in ecosystem health, while fostering appreciation for each species' distinctiveness. In addition to these initiatives, LG is committed to making Earth Day an everyday occurrence by developing innovative products that promote significant energy savings through efficiency.
