The global apparel retailer will also expand its presence in California as part of accelerated U.S. growth strategy

UNIQLO is set to debut its inaugural stores in Texas, entering the Houston and Dallas markets, while also expanding its presence along the west coast, including new locations in San Diego and Sacramento, during the upcoming fall/winter season. This move is part of the brand's plan to open 11 fresh outlets across Texas and California, a significant segment of its 20+ store expansion strategy slated for North America in 2024. The forthcoming store launches align with UNIQLO's ambitious objective of reaching 200 stores across North America by 2027, targeting both established regions and emerging markets throughout the country. Yoshihide Shindo expressed excitement about the brand's entry into Texas, citing positive customer demand and the suitability of UNIQLO LifeWear products for the diverse lifestyles and climates in Houston and Dallas.

Since its inception in North America with the opening of its first U.S. store in 2005, UNIQLO has distinguished itself by offering innovative LifeWear, designed to enhance the lives of its customers. This simple yet high-quality everyday apparel is continuously evolving to meet modern needs, contributing to rising brand awareness in the U.S. and driving profitability for UNIQLO North America in recent fiscal years. UNIQLO's global popularity remains robust, bolstered by initiatives such as designer collaborations, viral product launches like the round mini-shoulder bag, community partnerships, the RE.UNIQLO circularity program, and convenient in-store services such as alterations and self-checkout.
