Q. How do potential buyers find out about you? What makes you stand out from the competition?

Buyers hold all the cards. They often conduct their own research, explore options, and make their own observations before contacting us. According to a survey of more than 1,400 B2B customers by the Corporate Executive Board, 57% of a typical purchase decision is made before a customer even speaks with a supplier. And according to the US Small Business Administration, only about 50% of businesses survive five years or longer. Luckily our strategy has paid off. We focus on quality rather than quantity, and as a result, we have been thriving in the Greek real estate market for 20 years now and have a loyal, satisfied clientele who recommend our services to their friends and acquaintances. For new prospects, as real estate service is an invisible service, we maintain an active presence across social media, giving anyone who is interested the opportunity to learn more about what we do and how we work, think and act; they can also see the various awards and accolades we have received and read customer reviews of our services. In this way, they can compare our services with the competition.

We always try to explore new and innovative approaches to marketing and lead generation, and we have in place an effective digital marketing and social media strategy

Q. What’s your approach to better understanding your customers and providing a better experience?

Not everyone thinks as we think or likes what we like—as such, talking to customers is one of the highest-leverage activities, a real investment for any business that needs the proper attention to yield results even though it might seem easy. Business leaders should interact with their customers as much as possible; it’s the most direct, effective way to really get to know them. However, getting down to the facts is not always as straightforward as you might expect, and it takes experience and skill to learn to identify the real truth of what people want and mean, things they may not yet be fully aware of themselves. At ALMA, we always make time to talk extensively with our customers, and we always ask beginning and follow-up questions that help us summarize what’s important to them.

Q. Are you planning to launch any new features or services?

We are currently working on a targeted email marketing campaign and improved SEO to become more visible to leads and help interested parties access our services, and we’re also making our website more user-friendly to help customers access information faster and easier. We are also constantly working to improve the customer experience, using technology to enhance this, but we are determined to keep our services personalized. Our goal, after all, is to have repeated and loyal customers and simply put, satisfied customers become loyal.

Q. What does the future hold for your company and its customers?

Every single day, we surprise our customers with our knowledge and immediate action, going above and beyond their expectations and helping them make the best real estate decisions. In the coming time, we expect to see an increase in foreign customers as reforms in Greece lower taxes and streamline procedures, and we hope to see properties move faster and not stay on the market as long. Changes in the way we work, live, and socialize as a result of the pandemic will be a factor too. Whatever happens, though, one thing is certain, and that is our commitment to delivering outstanding service to each and every customer at every step of the way.
