Orion Edutech, an NSDC partnered and ISO 9001:2008 certified company is the brainchild of Mr. Sanjeev Kothari and Mr. Manish Agarwal. Founded in the year 2006, their sole motto has since been to create promising champions of the future and to bridge the gap between the demand and supply of skilled man force in the industry. They have successfully trained and placed more than 1.5 lacs job aspirants in various top MNCs and corporate houses. They have been successfully executing placement linked projects under several Ministries as Ministry of Minority Affairs, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Ministry of Rural Development and Ministry of Labor & Employment. 

Association with CII, FICCI, BCC&I and ASSOCHAM gives them an edge over competitors. Of late, they have taken a majority stake in Chennai based Brainvalley Software Pvt. Ltd. to get access to its scalable “Cloud based assessment platform 'Quizky'”.  It is an innovative independent assessment solution for corporate and education institutes.

Orion, Being a skill development training company the major aspects that differentiate them from that of the rest in the domain are the credibility that they have trained and placed, the maximum number of sectors that have affiliated them, the accreditations and awards that have acknowledged or efforts in the same. 

Exquisite Training Services

They offer end-to-end skill building programs focused on improving the employability of candidates, partnering with various Governments, Agencies, Corporates, Universities and PSUs to provide skill building programs for the rural / urban youth. They offer a wide array of courses covering more than 22 sectors. The curricula of courses are designed as per guidelines of National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) and approved by the relevant Sector Skill Councils (SSC). On job training and industry visits are a part of the “industry collaborated” course programs. Job skills, soft skills, life skills and entrepreneurship skills are integral to the course curriculum.

Besides vocational training, they provide customized training  and up-skilling  programs to employees of Corporates and also provide end to end recruitment and staffing solutions right from recruitment, selection, on-boarding, compliance and training  of candidates for their clients in sectors such as BFSI, Hospitality, FMCG, Manufacturing, Healthcare and IT / ITeS. They cater to leadership, mid-level and associate hiring in generic, niche and technical skill sets.

The company has been facilitating more than 1.5 lakh learners for last 10 years by the in depth and industry specific both non- digital and digital learning materials. Hence, recently they have initiated for a new portal with commercial content to cater to the Corporates with web content solutions. Their initiatives for CSR activities in skill development with various Corporates are mention worthy.

They have forayed into the high-growth “Online Assessment” segment through a strategic acquisition of Brain Valley Software Pvt. Ltd. which complements their service offerings, leveraging their established large student base, campus and corporate relationships

Meet the Leaders

Sanjeev Kothari, co-Founder and Director : Sanjeev Kothari after completing his B.Com, strode with a vision of nurturing young minds with the world class  training and making them industry ready. With such an insight, he, joined hands with Mr. Manish Agarwal, and established Orion Edutech in 2006 in one of the outskirts of Kolkata. In a span of 5 years Orion expanded its network all over the country and trained and placed 50,000 students with various MNCs. A 4 member company now possesses 600 resources on board. In the journey of 10 years through off and on trials and tribulations, he has always got Manish Agarwal as his biggest support. He is a man of benevolence; his achievements have never become his pride rather are his learnings.

Manish Agarwal, Co- Founder and Director: Manish, after completing his CA Interns joined hands with Mr. Sanjeev Kothair, who was his batchmate and confidante and started the journey of Orion Edutech with a profound and intense focus on bridging the gap between the demand and supply of the skilled workforce. He is an entrepreneur with a visionary outlook for reaching the mass through networking and liaising.
