“With over 45 years in the industry, we have built and grown relationships across the board. This means we can leverage relationships to get things done when no one else can.”

Bill Moore started Rinchem Company, Inc. in 1976 by providing chemical waste management services in Albuquerque, NM. By 1990, the company expanded its service repertoire to store chemicals with a large, local semiconductor manufacturer and manage chemical waste for several DOD agencies. Rinchem thrived and eventually broke the threshold for 100 employees and the $10 Million annual revenue mark by 2000. The following year, Rinchem made the strategic switch to focus solely on third-party logistics services.

Rinchem grew its domestic footprint by opening several chemical warehouses domestically to support its 3PL services. The company continued to grow its network within chemical logistics to specifically support the semiconductor industry by opening two more warehouses internationally by 2005. Rinchem also acquired three transportation asset companies, expanded its freight forwarding services, and developed its proprietary supply chain management software, Chem-Star®. In 2021, Bill Moore sold Rinchem to the private equity firm, Stonepeak. The company continues to manage some of the most complex supply chains in the world by providing 4PL services primarily for the semiconductor industry.

Presently, Rinchem serves clients across industry verticals, including semiconductor, chemical manufacturers, spec gas, life sciences, personal care, paints and coatings, and pharma. The company is also continuing to expand by building new warehouses in Malaysia, Surprise, AZ, and Cornelius, OR.

The Silicon Review reached out to Chuck Breinholt, CEO of Rinchem, and here’s what he had to say.

“For Rinchem, how we manage the supply chains goes beyond a simple transactional relationship. We work to be a partner that can provide the level of attention our customers require. Our industry knowledge, expertise, customer service, reliability, compliance, and relationship management are what set us apart.”

Rinchem has also developed a culture of problem-solving. In a world where something seems to go wrong daily, it’s crucial to have a skilled team who have high attention to detail and can come up with creative solutions.

“We have a veteran staff of experts who bring a deep level of knowledge to their jobs. They know what levers to pull when and how to continually move the puzzle pieces to get what our customers need done, when they need it done.”

Moreover, Rinchem  can leverage its global buying power to maximize efficiency and bring costs savings as it transports goods worldwide.

Chem-Star®: A Warehousing & Transportation Management

Chem-Star® enables inventory visibility across Rinchem's network of warehouses. It utilizes GPS tracking for the company’s customized, over-the-road fleet of tractor/trailer units to ensure the visibility of customer loads.

Chem-Star® gives contracted customers access to view their inventory across Rinchem, add and remove statuses attached to their inventory, and submit inbound/outbound warehouse-to-warehouse transactions.

“For our integrated customers, they can work within their native systems to seamlessly send transactions and receive responses.”

Chem-Star® is available to customers 24/7 through a secured web-based interface that offers many different real-time inventory queries and reports. Rinchem also employs radio frequency technology to improve warehouse receiving, picking speed, and accuracy.
