In Conversation with Srini Voruganti & Supreet Singh, Pegasus Knowledge Solutions, Inc Co-founders and Founding Principals
How was Pegasus Knowledge Solutions set up? And how has it changed over the years?
Mr. Srini Voruganti: Pegasus Knowledge Solutions was founded as a services company. We anticipated the power of AI solutions and the need for PSKI’s customers to leverage their vast amounts of data with advanced analytic solutions and began investing in solution development and strategic partnerships with leading technology platform providers in 2015. Today, PKSI is a recognized leader in both Advanced Workforce Analytics (AWA) and Advanced Banking Analytics (ABA), allowing customers to leverage their existing IT investments, by layering in PKSI’s complementary solutions, in order to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace, predicting employee and customer attrition, as well as a host of other use cases.
What was the market response towards the AI integrated services offered by your company?
Mr. Supreet Singh: PKSI has delighted customers since 1997, combining software solutions with the expertise required for customers to quickly implement, directly contributing to top-line growth and bottom-line cost savings. Early on, we realized that a key challenge for AI adoption would be the availability of in-house AI expertise to implement and deploy AI based solutions. We therefore set out to develop turnkey solutions that enable our customers to get rapid insights from their own data. PKSI enables organizations to harness the power of AI and machine learning to drive both top-line growth and bottom-line savings. Organizations are struggling to leverage AI use cases across their data, data that exists in multiple and disparate data sources, to arrive at strategic decision-making insights. PKSI provides decision-makers with real-time, predictive insights that make it easier for them to make informed and impactful decisions quickly. Organizations are striving to leverage AI because there is a tremendous return on their investment, but often lack the resources, expertise, and support required to truly leverage advanced analytics. Solution offerings from Pegasus deliver savings in manpower costs, time, timely risk alerts and more, all of which directly contribute to a healthier bottom line for clients.
What kind of responses has PKSI received from clients over the years? How do the responses help shape the future direction of the company?
Mr. Srini Voruganti: Driven by customer satisfaction metrics and feedback, PKSI has enhanced its solutions and focused on process improvement, specifically to deliver incremental value and, as well as use case expansion, for our customers. As an example, solutions were initially developed to be consumed on-premise. However, as customer’s sought to leverage cloud-based consumption models, PKSI was able to develop both solutions and flexible consumption models to compress the time to value, address their security, governance and access concerns, as well as the ability to deploy the solutions as an operating expense, results as a service. Customers need to leverage their existing investments, derive value from their solutions quickly, and have access to the resources and skills when they need it and consume and pay for the solutions with flexible terms. PKSI’s offerings evolved based on direct customer feedback, as well as macro industry trends.
What kind of challenges did you face over the years?
Mr. Srini Voruganti: With the emerging AI market opportunity and the use case demand so broad, there is a tendency to lose focus. PKSI was challenged by customers to develop custom solutions and not stay focused on our core competency, integrating data, applying predictive analytics and helping customers visualize the insight in well thought out dashboards. It is important to keep focus, delivering value and replicating customer success in your sweet spot. For PKSI, that means focusing on HR and Banking advanced analytics for commercial and enterprise customers. We also keep a strong focus on ensuring data privacy and security for the customer data we analyze for insights.
Fostering a culture of feedback is crucial to the success of every organization. How is this true with your company?
Mr. Supreet Singh: Existing PKSI customers serve as our best advocates and help evangelize the benefits of doing business with us. There are many examples of customers helping us acquire new customers with their testimonials. PKSI has fostered a culture of feedback that is apparent in all our customer interactions. This is typically seen in PKSI’s willingness to invest in our prospects, a willingness to prove a solution’s value. While requirements are where our prospects appreciate seeing their data at work, removing inhibitors and ensuring clear value communication.
“Earning trust and respect of consumers all around the world is through consistent focus on delivering high quality in all of our actions.” How do you interpret this statement?
Mr. Srini Voruganti: Today’s customers are empowered. They want a true business partner that can add value to their business process. PKSI has been delighting enterprise organizations for over 20 years, providing choice, convenience, personalization, and value. We don’t simply meet customer needs, we anticipate them. Doing so has earned our customers’ trust and respect. Quality and customer satisfaction are the focus of the PKSI team, from solution development, architects, service and support teams, sales, and operations. Information Security, Quality and customer satisfaction are at the core of all we do.
