10 Fastest Growing Storage Companies 2018
The Silicon Review
Rick Clark co-founded APTARE in 1993 and set out to build a successful, collaborative, employee-owned consulting company, which remains the core of the company’s DNA. Rick assembled a talented team focused on a business model driven by customer needs and priorities. Even its company name, APTARE was chosen for its Latin root word—meaning to adapt, to fit, to apply.
After 10 years as a profitable consulting company, APTARE adapted its product delivery strategies to fit the expanding needs of its customers. From its roots in providing large-scale, customized implementations, APTARE expanded its business to include enterprise-ready IT analytic solutions so that customers could realize immediate value and benefit.
Since 2003, APTARE has continued to increase its unique market position as a global leader in analytic solutions for heterogeneous IT infrastructure. Customers rely on APTARE as the industry's only objective, open and extensible IT analytics platform that supports current storage and backup systems, as well as emerging technologies such as OpenStack, software-defined storage, flash, and hybrid infrastructures.
APTARE has achieved an amazing record of over 20 years of sustained profitability based solely on organic growth of the company. Today, APTARE is still completely employee-owned. Each member of the APTARE team is dedicated to its singular mission of helping customers adapt their data centers for future technologies and keep pace with ever-changing IT trends.
