Over the past decade, we’ve learned that content mastery requires three key ingredients: an audience-first content strategy that delights your customers, a platform that helps you maximize your content, and great storytellers that make people care.

Contently believes in the power of great storytelling. Founded in 2011 by Joe Coleman, Dave Goldberg, and Shane Snow, the firm’s mission is to help brands create engaging, accountable content that drives business results.

Contently has become the content marketing solution of choice for the world’s most valuable brands. ContentlyOne is the industry’s only product that fuses art with science, integrating technology, talent, and strategy into one unified approach forachieving content mastery.

Headquartered in New York City, Contently works with hundreds of enterprises like American Express, Bayer, Dell Technologies, JP Morgan Chase, Marriott, and Walmart. Contently is the recipient of numerous awards, including Digiday’s Best Content Marketing Platform, and has been recognized by AdAge, Crain’s, Fortune, and Inc. as a Best Place to Work.

Contently’s culture

Work on projects that challenge you:

We’ve earned a reputation as an industry leader by helping the world’s best brands master content marketing. Every employee plays an essential role in developing the products and services our clients need to move their businesses forward.

Collaborate with people who care about you:

We’ve found that breaking down silos makes everyone more effective. Employees are encouraged to learn, brainstorm, and solve problems across departments on cross-functional teams that impact the whole company.

Join a company that invests in you:

We want employees to build meaningful careers and bring their best selves to the office. That’s why we provide regular career training, offer educational resources, and set up a professional development program.

Company values

  • Accountability: You set clear expectations for your work, take action to see the job though, and own the results
  • Candor: You embrace healthy conflict, speak honestly, and accept feedback as a chance to improve.
  • Empathy: You listen without preconceived notions, look to collaborate, and understand that people work in different ways.
  • Curiosity: You want to learn from colleagues and customers, take smart risks, and always look to improve your skills.

Diversity & Inclusion

“We want Contently to be a place where people from different backgrounds and experiences come together to do their best work. Reaching that point requires transparency, diversity, talent engagement, and community outreach. To honor those commitments, we developed Catalyst, a committee of employees across the company working to make Contently a more open and inclusive company.”

Catalyst has developed groups and initiatives that are led by passionate employees and backed by executive sponsorship:

Ette All: Providing the space for people of all genders to share ideas, discuss, and inspire action that supports a workplace grounded in gender equality.
