Atlus has announced Catherine: Full body for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita
The Silicon Review
21 December, 2017

Japanese video game developer, Atlus is taking it to the next level by teasing it little by little, and it seems the rumors are actually true. One of Japan’s popular games, Catherine is getting a makeover for the PS4 and the PS Vita. Studio led by Persona 5 director, Katsura Hashino, Studio Zero has developed the game.

With the remake, the game is getting a new title, Catherine: Full Body which sounds just as bawdy as you might expect of a game like this one.

Originally released as a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game, Catherine is an action puzzle game filled with risqué scenes. The game follows the story of a 32-year-old man; Vincent who cheats on his fiancée, Katherine with a woman named Catherine and is desperately trying to survive from his daily nightmares that come as a result of his bad deeds.

The Japanese game, Catherine: Full Body is going to feature a “third Catherine” whose personality and ambiance seems to be quite different from the previous Katherine and Catherine.

On 21st December, the Weekly Famitsu will have the exclusive first report on Catherine: Full Body. The Japanese video game magazine, Famitsu has already shared few screenshots of the game on its website showing the third Catherine and a new scene with the original Catherine. Apart from Famitsu, on December 22 in Niconico live stream, Atlus will no doubt reveal more juicy details about exactly what this re-release will entail.

The Confirmed appearances on the Niconico Livestream include Kouji Watanabe (writer) and Chiaki Matsuzawa (announcer), guests Katsuhiko Hayashi (Weekly Famitsu editor-in-chief), Shinichi Taira (Denfaminico Gamer editor-in-chief), Mafia Kajita (freelance writer), and Tomokazu Sugita (voice actor), and few more other guests who will appear through videos.
