A passionate marketing expert, Rob is always led by his primary mission to provide the glue that links together the market needs, what to build and how to go-to-market. His multiple skills are classified as: product strategy and roadmap, product direction, product planning, company and product vision, product management, product marketing, analyst and public relations, sales enablement.
Rob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University.
Serving as CMO at ForeScout, (Catering the Enterprise Security industry, ForeScout Technologies, Inc. is transforming security through visibility), Rob Greer brings ForeScout 20 years of executive experience at HP Software, Symantec, ClearApp, Helius, and SonicWALL. He very well understands what it takes to meet market needs, generate product demand, ship on time, and exceed customer expectations. Acting as a voice of the customer, he mentors and guides ForeScout’s global product management organization. Not only this, with his sheer passion and dedication, he creates & deliver content to drive maximum demand & brand recognition.
Prior to joining ForeScout, Rob was Vice President and General Manager of Network Security Products at HP Software. Before HP, Rob served in numerous leadership roles at Symantec, ClearApp, SonicWALL, and Ignyte Technology, where he was Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Rob joined ForeScout from Hewlett-Packard where he was Vice President and General Manager of the HP TippingPoint enterprise network security business. Prior to HP, Rob led Symantec’s enterprise mobility offerings. Through internal innovation, targeted acquisitions and strategic integrations, Rob built the enterprise mobility business from the ground up. At Symantec, he had previously run the core security, endpoint management and data loss prevention (DLP) businesses as well.
