Creating Doodles is a massive form of art today. It is great news for all those who love to create doodles as Google has launched a progressive web app for designing quick doodles. It is called as Chrome Canvas. It can be used when we need to draw on the go! It allows creating doodles that can be automatically saved to the users’ Google accounts. Basically, it is a web app. So the users don’t have to download any software explicitly. They can just type canvas.apps.chrome in the Chrome browser and start working on a basic drawing app.

Chrome Canvas was first released as an app in a recent Chrome OS Dev build, but it isnow available as a web app on any browser that supports WebAssembly, for example, Firefox.

Presently, it is a basic app with pretty simple features. Its toolbar consists of pencil, pen, eraser tools, marker, color palette, chalk etc. Once done, the users can export their drawing as a PNG file. The app can be installed on the Chromebook by clicking on the three-dot button and hitting ‘install Canvas’. It will appear as a palette icon on the Chrome OS launcher.

Google is always updated with the latest art forms and comes up with applications that make their creation easier.
