SUSE to introduce high-performance enterprise Linux to Oracle Cloud-based infrastructure

SUSE has announced the availability of the brand new SUSE Linux Enterprise on Oracle Cloud-based infrastructure and Now Oracle has become an official member of SUSE in the partnership program for Cloud Service Providers.

SUSE is the most trusted and proven company in the cloud environment, with this partnership SUSE will offer both SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications on Oracle Cloud. By this move the firm is trying to expand its availability in various public cloud sectors to reach multiple customers.

“SUSE’s collaboration with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure allows us to meet growing customer demand for the agility and cost benefits of cloud-based business-critical applications,”stated NajiAlmahmoud, SUSE vice president of Global Alliances.

The firm also announced that customers will be able to leverage the high-performance virtual machines with proven performance as well as the price advantages for their Linux-based workloads. SUSE Linux Enterprise Server on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure offers enterprises more choice as they transition to the cloud. The application that runs on SUSE Linux Enterprise server through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure will help the customers to use the software with more agility and will also reduce the operating costs; at the same time it will also be able to deploy the business-critical applications more quickly and efficiently.
