Patently Apple published a story called "Apple Supplier GoerTech Moves AirPods Plant to Vietnam to avoid possible escalation of China-U.S. trade war."The recent report entitled "The Data" contains vague information about possible loans that Goertek and Luxshare suppliers are seeking to expand their production. Such suppliers also make earbuds for Apple's rivals, so it's hard to clearly allocate loans to increase Vietnam's AirPods.
Patently Apple posted an article entitled "Apple reportedly transferring more product orders from Taiwan to the supply chain of China to increase the cost of production."Digitimes mentioned that "By leveraging China's supply chain, Apple also aims to improve its control of production costs through volume purchases," added sources. The report also mentioned that "Apple at China's Luxshare-ICT development partner is expected to increase production of AirPods Pro, which is also likely to be land orders for Apple Watch later.
The study of the Information is too unclear about the loan information and what these plants will do specifically in terms of AirPods and other branded earbuds in Vietnam. It could very well be that Apple's high-end AirPods Pro will be made for Vietnam at the entrance level in China and their AirPods.
