Microsoft is known for evolution and creating the best solutions for all. It has now unveiled that a new Windows Defender Anti-Virus Software will be out in the market. This software is said to help Apple’s Operating System, the MacOS. In other words, it’s an Anti-Virus for MacOS only. The Anti-Virus Software is said to offer full protection against virus and threats that may affect the OS’s performance. It also has the ability to perform quickly or do a full scan in a short time frame. Microsoft says the Defender is built into Windows10 to offer protection by default.

The news comes through a blog post saying that the process of making the Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) for Mac will now be named as Microsoft Defender ATP. The Senior Content developer of Microsoft, Eric Avena had written in a blog post saying that the company has been working closely with industry partners to enable Windows Defender ATP customer in protecting the non-Windows devices. All this while keeping the centralized experience in mind, but a limited preview will be available for businesses for the tryout of this anti-virus for both Macs and Windows.
