Telecom Egypt to join hands with IBM for bringing digital transformation

Telecom Egypt to join hands with IBM for bringing digital transformation

Telecom Egypt has partnered with IBM and Red Hat for its digital transformation as it works on reinventing its infrastructure as part of its growth strategy. The telco said it intends to develop an open, hybrid cloud strategy based on IBM and Red Hat technology, using IBM Cloud Pak for Automation built on Red Hat OpenShift, to enable new digital services.  Further IBM provided designed, built and project management services for Egypt's largest international data center, in late 2020.

“As part of Telecom Egypt’s strategy to modernize infrastructure and provide customers with the highest level of capabilities, we turned to IBM as our preferred partner to help us accelerate our digital transformation journey.Due to the increased pressure on our network throughout Egypt during this critical time, we implemented IBM Cloud Pak for Automation to accelerate our networks performance and provide our customers with reliable services,” stated Adel Hamed, CEO of Telecom Egypt.
