HBO released new photos from 'Game of Thrones' prequel ‘House of the Dragon’

HBO released new photos from 'Game of Thrones' prequel ‘House of the Dragon’

In a recent announcement, Home Box Office, an America-based cable television company, has released the first images from its highly anticipated 'Game of Thrones' (GOT) prequel series 'House of the Dragon.' The series, which is primarily based on most renowned author George R.R. Martin's "Fire and Blood," follows the events that took place in the Targaryen family 300 years before the events of the original series took place.

In the first glimpse of the new series, the relatives of Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke, are sporting the mother of Dragon's white-blond hair. "Dragon" recently began production and is set to debut in 2022.  The images show five of the series' characters standing stoically on a beach clad in Westeros' best finery. The character descriptions provided by HBO, along with the images in a news release, make the series more curious.

HBO stated that the series would be a lot of new characters will be introduced. The series will be the bigger and better version when it comes to characterization. It will be shot in new locations, and the sets will be grander compared to the Game of Thrones set. The company also stated that the series would be telecasted on their network by the end of 2023.
