Mercedes-Benz will be promoting its line of electric vehicles in the US through Mercedes-EQ Experience
Along with standard test drives that are necessary for marketing and selling cars, Mercedes-Benz is now embracing new tactics to engage with its consumers across a broader range of issues. The most renowned carmaker is returning to experiential marketing — which was very popular before the pandemic scampered most in-person activities. The automobile giant will now be promoting its electric vehicles in the US through a test drive tour.
The company will be promoting environmental sustainability through Mercedes-EQ Experiences in New York and California. It will be educating its consumers about its new electric, especially for people who are primarily choosing more environmentally friendly electric or hybrid vehicles. In addition, the company will share a timeline of its plan to be carbon neutral by 2039.
The Mercedes-EQ Experience will be open to the public till December in the Meatpacking District in New York. The new experience platform will include an energy harvesting pathway, a museum-like energizer-comfort zone where the consumers can enjoy the sound and ambient lighting facilities. Also, an additional experience center will open in Santa Monica, California, from November 15 to December 15, with one more opening in early 2022.
