The United States of America will host the 2023 International Cybersecurity Championship and Conference (IC3) for the first time. This global event, organized by Katzcy PlayCyber®, will take place in San Diego, California, from July 31 to August 4, 2023. IC3 not only provides education and enjoyment, but it also addresses major workforce concerns in the industry and throughout the world on a proactive basis.

By combining a cybersecurity conference with an international championship game, this one-of-a-kind event experience combines esports, athletics, and networking activities. With 65+ nationalities represented, 600-700 spectators are scheduled to see eight teams from Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, Australia/New Zealand, and the United States compete over three days.

Teams of 15 cyber athletes aged 18 to 25 will compete in capture the Flag (forensics, crypto, web security, reverse engineering, and binary exploitation), hardware CTF, and an attack and defensive competition in front of a live audience. Cybersecurity professionals will be shout casting major game highlights while also explaining game preparation, talent scouting, strategy, and tactics to the public.
