Kiabi is now part of the exqui...The US Cotton Trust Protocol's president, Gary Adams, expressed his delight with Kiabi's dedication.
Kiabi, a French clothing company with 579 locations across 25 countries, has joined the US Cotton Trust Protocol. This program, which promotes environmentally friendly cotton growing, is focused on putting best practices and traceability measures into action to lessen the impact of cotton cultivation on the environment. Kiabi enjoys complete transparency across its supply chain by using the program's unique Protocol Consumption Management Solution (PCMS) for tracking US cotton and/or Protocol cotton. This includes having the option to use Protocol Consumption Units (PCCUs) for internal Scope 3 emissions projections and to make credible environmental claims about their products.
The raw materials head at Kiabi, Virginie Cayzeele, underlined the significance of tracking ongoing progress in sustainability indicators. "As part of our examination of our scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon emissions and biodiversity concerns, we must be able to confidently and accurately monitor ongoing improvement across our sustainability measures. Our efforts to safeguard and preserve our planet will be supported by rigorous and verifiable proof thanks to The Trust Protocol's blockchain-enabled value chain transparency solution.”
