Perigee Aerospace Inc. and SSC have collaborated to launch satellites from Esrange

SSC, the Swedish Space Corporation, has unveiled a groundbreaking partnership with South Korean aerospace firm Perigee Aerospace Inc. The collaboration aims to kickstart satellite launches from the Esrange Space Center in Sweden, commencing in 2025. This milestone marks the debut of an orbital rocket, Perigee's Blue Whale 1 microlauncher, from the Esrange facility. Charlotta Sund, CEO of SSC, expressed her delight at this historic collaboration, emphasizing the substantial market demand for such services both within Europe and globally. She highlighted the suitability of Perigee's Blue Whale 1 rocket for Esrange's orbital launch complex, foreseeing a competitive European orbital launch service.

He underlined the joint endeavor's aim to establish a cutting-edge orbital launch service, leveraging Perigee's Blue Whale 1 rocket and SSC's ground service offering.
