Mahindra Logistics Partners wi...The collaboration will see the implementation of a fully automated, SaaS platform designed to streamline logistics and supply chain management
Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL) has announced a strategic technological collaboration with AI-driven sustainability startup, Sangti Solutions, aimed at significantly reducing carbon emissions in the supply chain sector. This partnership is a key component of MLL's broader initiative to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040.
The collaboration will see the implementation of a fully automated, SaaS (software-as-a-service) platform designed to streamline logistics and supply chain management. The system, accredited by the Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC) and ISO 14083, will integrate seamlessly with existing operations, offering a centralized interface for efficient data management and comprehensive emission tracking. MLL’s green logistics ecosystem is an expansive suite of solutions focused on sustainable practices, including carbon-neutral warehousing, eco-friendly transportation methods, and the deployment of an electric vehicle (EV) fleet for last-mile delivery. The company is also investing in energy efficiency improvements, plantation initiatives, and exploring alternative fuels like LNG and hydrogen.
The newly established platform will enable real-time tracking of carbon emission KPIs (key performance indicators) across various sectors such as automotive, telecommunications, e-commerce, manufacturing, and white goods. This data will cover a wide range of logistics activities, including full and part truckload operations, warehousing, and cross-border solutions. This partnership with Sangti Solutions underscores Mahindra Logistics’ commitment to innovation and sustainability, furthering its goal to lead the industry in environmentally responsible logistics practices.
