Coles Group Limited, an Australian chain of supermarkets has rolled out a number of SAP solutions for its ERP installations to streamline procurement, HR, and business processes. These solutions include SAP S/4HANA (the company’s flagship ERP solution), SAP Ariba (Procurement and Supply Chain Management software), and SAP SuccessFactors (Human Resource Management software). The investment in SAP for its ERP solution is a great step as it will drive Coles’ digital transformation. The install would promote automation in Coles’ HR and procurement processes.
“Investing in itsprocesses, people, and supply chain, Coles is focusing on simplifying the experience for its teams and customers,”said SAP ANZ Managing Director Damien Bueno. It is crucial to get the digital business framework right in the era of the digital world that is focused on continuous innovation and anticipating customer needs.
Implementation is expected to begin this month. Neither Coles nor SAP has revealed anything about the size of the investment.
“Making life easier for our customers and team members is a key focus for Coles,”mentioned Coles Chief Information Officer Roger Sniezek. “This partnership with SAP will allow us to innovate more with both groups to ensure we are as efficient as possible across our retail environment”, he further added.
