Elon Musk claims he wants to get rid of Twitter's fraud, spam, and scam bots

fraud, spam, and scam bots

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Inc., wants to solve the problem of fraud and spam bots on Twitter. He voiced grave concern about hackers leveraging Twitter's platform to scam investors. Meanwhile, the Twitter owner stated that the reporting account will be suspended if the fraud and spam tool was abused. When a Twitter user wrote, Twitter asked or tested one-click, super-fast, 'spam' and 'fraud' reporting, as the existing scam reporting feature requires 5-10 steps, which is critical for harassment and binary for frauds.

Last week, Musk tweeted that the Twitter deal was on hold pending confirmation of the company's estimations that scam/spam accounts account for less than 5% of total users. Twitter's premium plan has been updated to allow customers to upload two-hour films, up from the previous 60-minute limit, and the movies must not contain any misleading material or scam news. The business has changed its Twitter Blue page, stating that the video file size limit for premium users has been raised from 2GB to 8GB and that it should be more specific about scam, spam, and fraudulent content.
