Auctoria Launches Comprehensiv...Auctoria is hoping to raise up to $5 million ahead of its launch in the coming months.
Polish AI startup Auctoria has developed an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered tool to generate 3D models of game assets that it claims is more "robust" and "comprehensive" than rival products. The system has been in development for two years and has been created entirely in-house and on proprietary content, without reliance on external engines. Experts say the global market for 3D models could grow to be worth $3.57 billion by 2028.
Auctoria is hoping to raise up to $5 million ahead of its launch in the coming months. Funds to be used to speed up the process of creating back-end cloud services to scale the platform. The Auctoria team plans to partner with game development studios, including Carbon Studio, to pilot the tooling. Although Auctoria will have to contend with the legal challenges currently facing AI-generated media, the company is focusing on raising funds and partnering with studios in the short term. It has a team of seven employees at present and will hire "a few more" by year-end.
