Europe also saw several new renewable energy projects announced.

July 2021 saw the announcement of several large-scale clean energy projects around the world, with a combined capacity of over 4.3 GW. These projects were announced by various companies and governments, with a focus on expanding the availability of renewable energy sources and reducing carbon emissions. One of the most significant announcements came from the Indian Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, which unveiled plans to set up a 4 GW ultra-mega solar park in Rajasthan. This is part of India's ambitious target to achieve 450 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. In the US, three large-scale solar projects were announced, totaling 480 MW of additional capacity. The projects are located in California and Nevada and are expected to generate around 1,200 GWh of clean energy annually.

Europe also saw several new renewable energy projects announced. A 50 MW wind farm in Scotland and a major energy storage project in Belgium that will utilize second-life batteries from electric vehicles. Other significant projects announced in July include a 240 MW floating solar project in China, a 100 MW solar project in Pakistan, and a 150 MW wind farm in Turkey. These projects demonstrate the increasing global focus on clean energy and the urgent need to transition away from fossil fuels to mitigate the impact of climate change. With continued investment and innovation in the clean energy sector, it is hoped that such projects will become more frequent, driving the world towards a sustainable future.
